Groovecutter

A solid producer in the art of house,hardcore house,drum & bass,hip hop & other selected styles,originally grounded through classical guitar tuition at an early age, but was then to see more scope in electronic music production.Since this time a long dedicated journey was undertaken to acquire the keyboard skills necessary to be a for front runner in the music industry.With time spent some contracts were acquired starting the initial first outputs of Groovecutter {around 1994} this also lead to promotional performances,the last public performance that Groovecutter gave was at Cesar's Palace in Luton but previous venues have included The Hippodrome,Camden Palace,The Warehouse & many more smaller venues up and down the country.At this point in time Groovecutter is currently working on new productions under the company X Cut Productions and is leasing with the Cutting-silk crew to produce some new EP's with the other artists affiliated with the company.With Groovecutter's unique musical outlook your sure to get satisfaction from the fat bold finishes he gives to his written pieces and to be able to delve in to some of the depths of full content that surly won't disappoint,all in all a top artist that has had a good grounding by the people he's stood along side,such as Rob & Steve the Rhythm Masters,Ralph T Scratch Music,Pete Kicking Records, Dave & John Cool World,and many more others,who without their influences and support would have led to him to a different career,surly an artist such as this is not to be missed.

DJ 3D

3D holds a respectable history as a club/radio DJ with styles ranging from UK Garage (currently his main focus) to Drum & Bass, Hardcore, Soul and Rare Groove. Previously known as "SCIENCE", 3D has played alongside top DJ's on the main circuit including the award winning EZ, Mikey B (Dreem Team), Mike 'Ruffcut' Lloyd (for IPM promotions), Fabio (at "Destiny" Clacton Pier) and LTJ Bukem (on a number of occasions). He has worked on numerous pirate radio stations such as Pressure FM (Luton), Mystery FM (Letchworth), and Spice FM (Hitchin, Herts). This enabled him to promote a lot of his own work alongside material from friends such as DJ Randall, Cool Hand Flex, DJ Ron, Busy B and Dextrous. While writing and engineering his own record pressings, he was signed to an independent label, releasing his first four track EP in 1993. 3D can be heard in the Bedfordshire region on RAW, 107.9 FM but predominantly resides in the studio these days

DJ Tytus

DJ Tytus_ Amsterdam [left] founder of the Vinal Crew in based Amsterdam determination and drive has moved him much closer to his goals. Tytus has just finished a video shoot with EMI for a fourth coming record release. Along with another member of the Vinal Crew namley Kelly aka [Special K] have created a highly successful new night every first Friday of the month held at the lushious Supper Club Amsterdam NL importing international artists. Munchie MC

Munchie MC is a highly popular MC on the Garage MC and has headlined numerous top clubs within the UK and Europe. Munchie recorded his first recording with 3D in December 2002 where he wrote and performed the vocals for a track called "Oh So Correct" with track and backing vocals written and performed by 3D. Munchies second recording with 3D (FOURTH COMING RELEASE_ DATE TO BE CONFIRMED) was in January 2003 where he wrote and performed the vocals for a track featuring female vocalist Cassarell called "Boy Oh Boy" Cassarell current portfolio includes a sound track for (Miss Dynamites) debute movie titled "Papers". Munchies third recording with 3D (FOURTH COMING RELEASE_ DATE TO BE CONFIRMED) was in February 2003 where he wrote and jointly performed vocals for a track featuring female vocalist Demmi called "Replay". Returning from Amsterdam in April 2003 with the (More Fire Crew) who also Rocked the dance floor. Munchie and 3D continue to tour the country performing together at top clubs and Radio shows within the UK, with the latest edition the Raw 5th Birthday Bash at @ Club M in Luton 10 December 2004 along side - Mike "Ruffcutt Lloyd.

MC Cobra

Cobra is established as an up and coming Producer/MC, he has work with near another every name in the scene such as EZ, MASTERSTEPZ, LITTLE CHARLIE & MC VIPER, 3D to name a few. Cobra has also worked abroad in Ayia Napa in both seasons 2001 & 2002. Cobra is currently Producing tunes for Sparks & Kie, Special MC, MC Vapour and also him self. He is also in collaborations with 3D at Pure Vibes and Raw 107.9 in 2005 to be held in the Bedfordshire region.

Marc Mouth

It all started off in a bar, where Mark Mouth and DJ Borgi turned a quiet bar into a popular pre club venue. Attracting Garage lovers from all surrounding towns of Hertfordshire with popularity came talk that attracted promoters giving him his first club appearance in Club Warehouse in north London, these are the people that gave Mark his first big break he feels he will always owe them for this. In addition this is where Mark Mouth got his name from, because one of Mark's mates told the MC that his name is, and the name has stuck with him. Mark Mouth got a lot of work through Club Warehouse in his time as a resident here due to promoters approaching him in the club giving him work in all the major clubs in and around London working along side the main DJ's in the UK Garage scene like EZ, Jason Kaye, Mike "Ruffcut" Lloyd, and the Dreem Teem to name a few.

Law

Law initially trained as a classical pianist but was bitten by the dance music bug during the early Hardcore days.  Since then he has written and produced Garage, Drum & Bass, Funk and Breakbeat tracks and co-wrote / co-produced for the band 'Fader'.  He is currently writing music with a number of successful House, Garage and Drum & Bass DJ's from the UK and abroad, in addition to working on live projects (watch this space for the possible arrival of a new band with LAW at the keys

MC Sessions aka Sirota

MC Sessions is a diverse young musician with a passion and drive for music past and present, started singing at the age of 15 and MC'ing, at warehouse raves in the Beds/Bucks. Now at the age of 23 although with no mainstream attention MC Sessions feels that after taking on unsigned opportunities, such at the cannabis march in London [Ascension] and various other festivals and underground raves to crowds of over 5 thousand he is well and truly ready to hit the mainstream. MC Sessions is also working with 3D on products due for release 2005

Lisa Sanchez

An established songwriter and vocalist, Lisa wrote and performed the vocals for the garage track "Everyday" with LAW. Her style and  magnetic personality are clearly evident in this song.  A professional artist who has a great stage presence, Lisa is currently working with a number of other top producers on various projects as well as gigging in the UK and Europe.

Short Cut

DJ Short is a Drum 'n' Bass DJ from the Drum and Bass Republic UK, and frequently works the clubs and in the UK with trips to Ayia Napa expected for 2003 playing many of his own track to the masses.  DJ Short Cut's first recording with 3D was in February 2003 where he jointly wrote a track called "Twisted".

Mr Blakey

Mr Blakey is a renowned Garage MC and has also headlined numerous top clubs within the UK and abroad.  He is also a regular face in the club scenes of Ayia Napa and Ibiza and has worked with most top name garage DJ's. Mr Blakey's first recording with Cuttin' Silk was in March 1999 where he wrote and performed the vocals for a track called "The Flex".

Pete Baker

Pete Baker (trombonist / drummer from TROoPER) is a superb artist who's ability to play music in almost every genre (to the standard most of us would dream of) has placed him in great demand by Cuttin' Silk.  Pete made a guest appearance on one of Cuttin' Silk's garage tracks last year and since then a mutual appreciation has grown between both organisations.

Simon Nesbitt

Initially inspired to play guitar by the legendary Jimi Hendrix, Simon has mastered a number of styles; particularly jazz and reggae. Playing gigs (mainly) around the Solent region with the five-piece funk/reggae band "Whitey On The Moon" he has built a solid reputation as a talented artist and performer. Simon has worked on a number of drum & bass projects with Cuttin' Silk and was also a former member of 'Fader' with LAW.
